Star Name Service is now live on SUI Testnet & Devnet. Building the best omnichain name service platform and providing more choices of Web3 names has always been an integral part of Star’s roadmap. The launch of Star Name Service on Sui Devnet is one step closer to accomplishing this mission.

Sui uses an object-oriented data model to represent digital assets and intends to set a new standard for web3 infrastructure. Being a leading identity protocol, Star will take an important role in the Ecosystem of Sui Network. Star will deliver not only omnichain name service, but also Aster Protocol, ID aggregator on Sui when mainnet goes live.

Star name service is promising on Sui network. Following our roadmap, we will continue to develop and collaborate on the promotion of our domain name services as follows.

  • Issue more domains of .suffix for partnership projects and integrate with applications in the eco-system of Sui Network.
  • Integration for cross-chain features when LayerZero supports Sui Network.

About Star

Star is pioneering the transition from Web2 to Web3, allowing anyone at social networks to use their existing web2 IDs as omnichain web3 names, (to own web3 with a unique omnichain ID), seamlessly managed across all their social & commerce platforms. With the upcoming sequential rollout of Star’s products, millions of users will now have an easy on-ramp into Web3.

Star Name Service provides omnichain naming services for multiple suffixes, similar to ICANN for Web3. A White-label Web3 domain name solution is also available.
