Today we are excited to announce Star has received a Polygon grant and is now collaborating with the Polygon network.
Star is deploying the world’s first DID and social network aggregation protocol on Polygon. Thereby lowering barriers of entry to Web3, leading to increased accessibility to on-chain assets.
Star aims to be the first choice for developers to bridge existing follower bases across from social media platforms on web2 to web3 platforms. Whilst Polygon acts as the essential backbone to facilitate this bridge, enabling transactions with low fees without sacrificing security.
With omni-chain support, Star will make billions of social network users connected to Web3. Two incredible features will be built first on Star protocol;
- Star Name Service where users can own one or multiple of these that can be connected to DID’s across multiple chains.
- Linkee, our link in bio tool, linking web2 social media accounts and DID’s on an aggregated landing page.
Our next milestone encompasses building and incubating more applications on Star Protocol to accelerate the creator economy and bridge Web2 to Web3.
About Star
Star (“Aster Protocol”) builds the first DID & social network aggregator and provides decentralized commerce infrastructure (for goods and services in the online and offline world) to accelerate the ownership economy (“Creator Economy”).
About Polygon
Polygon is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. It aims to provide multiple tools to improve the speed and reduce the cost and complexities of transactions on blockchain networks.
